The Blackout Kitchen is a practical preparedness cookbook built around a simple proposition: turn emergency preparedness advice into food you know how to use.
Food first, without the drama
The book brings together 48 comfort-food recipes for camping stoves, BBQs, wood-fired ovens and no-cook meals. It pairs recipes with shopping lists, meal plans, useful swaps and careful cooking guidance.
It is intended for short household disruptions and everyday outdoor cooking. It is not a complete long-term nutrition plan. Every recipe serves four, with breakfasts, sides, drinks and desserts identified separately.
Independent guidance
Official sources are linked beside relevant explanations. Local emergency instructions and product labels take priority. Source inclusion does not imply endorsement.
Recipe formulations are original and have not been kitchen-tested. Cooking times, liquid ranges and oven settings are working estimates. Practise with your own equipment and check doneness.
